"Must Have" camper accessory is a good roof vent fan. There are 2 common brands of these fans made for RV use: the "Fan-Tastic" Fan &
Both fans operate on 12V (battery) power & are very quiet when running. The biggest advantage to either of these fans is that they move a LOT of air very quickly, so if you are boilng water on your cook top, showering or even running the furnace, theses fans will greatly reduce condensation build up inside your RV or camper. These fans are easily installed by your RV Dealer in any RV Camper such as 5th Wheel, Travel Trailer, Motorhome or Toy Hauler.

Used Campers:
One of the benefits in buying a used truck camper for sale is that the depreciation on the RV has been absorbed by someone else. When looking for a good deal on used campers, one thing to consider is the overall condition. Some truck campers for sale have not been looked after very well and may smell bad inside from condensation build up over the years.
Other Used Campers may have "dry rot" issues inside the walls & ceiling from former exterior water leaks that have been cosmetically repaired. It is vital to check the roof & side walls of a used camper before making a deciosion to buy it.
Some RV owners are very particular with their Campers and look after them very well from the time they bought them new. You may pay a little more money for one of these Used RVs BUT it is well worth the peace of mind knowing that the Used Camper you buy is going to hold up well & serve you for many years to come. Like most RV dealers, I have used campers in inventory from time to time - and we do our best to recondition & inspect them when they are sold. Currently I don't have any Used Campers in stock.

For example, a Palomino Maverick model 8801 Truck Camper has a 9' floor, which can FIT into a 6' Short Box truck BUT the weight of the camper is 2133 lbs, making it an appropriate camper for a 3/4 or 1 ton short box truck, NOT a 1/2 ton. So even though it will fit in a 1/2 ton truck, the camper itself is too heavy to be used on any truck lighter than a 3/4 ton. The truck and camper relationship is an important one to understand when considering RV Campers.
