Often the RV Dealer will recondition your used trailer to some degree prior to your picking it up. When You Buy a Used Travel Trailer or RV of any type from RV Dealers you should feel confident that your RV has been fully inspected and that you have had all the functions of the RV explained to you upon picking it up.

Being in RV Sales I have the opportunity to see Keystone RVs a few years after they have been used. I have to say that these RVs tend to show very well after a couple seasons of RVing. Financing a Used Travel Trailer
When it comes to buying a used RV Trailer, certainly the prices are lower than new Travel Trailers. One thing to understand from a budgeting point of view, is that payment amounts on RV Trailers are based on amortizations of 20 years on current model year Travel Trailers minus the age of the used trailer. For example, a 2009 used travel trailer will amortize for a maximum of 16 years, versus a new 2013 travel trailer that will amortize for 20 years. What this means to you is that your monthly payment on a used travel trailer may be very close to the payment on a new one, even though the used travel trailer is less expensive than a new one.
