Calling all 90’s kids. If you’re reading this, then congrats on making it to adulthood
You survived the dangers of Moon Shoes, Socker Boppers, trampolines, and the Skip-It.
You made it through all the toy recalls.
Slip-n-Slides were outlawed because some simpletons slip-n-belly-flopped.
They banned Sky Dancers when a few window-lickers got poked in the eye by standing too close.
The Easy Bake Oven - where you eagerly waited six hours to cook a brownie by the heat of a pygmy lightbulb - got canned after burning some kid’s finger.
Pogs were cancelled after they taught youths how to gamble and organize black-market schoolyard syndicates.
And then there was Polly Pocket. Much like a shark tests if prey is edible by biting, children ate a lot of Polly Pocket pieces.
Unlike those other toys which were designed to cull the herd, Polly Pocket animated endless worlds of imagination.
Remember the glamper van she had? That opened to reveal everything she needed inside?
Bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, TV, dinette. Sometimes she hauled a bike or a kayak or a jet ski.
She was always up for a drive to the mountains or the beach, the country or the city.
She inspired dreams of adventures.
If you still harbor those golden 90’s aspirations, then we’ve got a time machine for you.
Introducing: the 2012 Sunseeker, a My-Size Polly-Pocket Dream-Van. Everything you loved as a kid, now in adult-friendly dimensions.
This is more than just an RV.
This is a mini mo’ho’.
A bite-sized buggy.
A keychain camper.
A fold-n-go tallyho.
An itsy-bitsy teeny-weeny little pocket-sized hot-wheelie.
She’s just plain cute (ain’t that right Rick?)
At just under 25 feet long, she’s small enough to park anywhere, yet spacious enough to sleep you and five friends.
She’s got the same layout as Polly Pocket’s glamper van: queen-sized bed, a washroom with a shower, a full kitchen, a dinette set, and even a TV. A fold-out loft bed adds an elevated hideaway. The seven foot-high interior gives a lofty dimension to this charming tiny-house-on-wheels.
Complete with a rear hitch for hauling all those accessories that Polly Pocket had; like jet skis, kayaks, quads, motorcycles, and a boat.
In the words of Polly Pocket, this wee venture-vessel proves that Tiny is Mighty. Plenty of well-designed storage space means a place for everything and everything in its place. The unique trunk hatch opens from three sides for easy access. Large enough to fit luggage, camping gear, bikes, and any 90’s nostalgia contraband you managed to save from the great toy recall.
(You know what they call those toys now? Vintage. 1994 is officially a “vintage” year. Songs you listened to back then are now called “classics.” Congratulations, you’re officially old. You probably have a favorite burner on your stove.)
You can buy it for almost as much as the original Polly Pockets are priced on Ebay these days (give or take a grand.)
Even her mileage is mini, at just over 36k.
Small parts aside, we feel that if being fabulous is a crime, then the Sunseeker is guilty as charged.
Come on down and give ‘er a spin. Travel the roads to new adventures as you travel back in time and relive your childhood dreams. They missed you, and they’re glad to have you back.
